The Birds of the air

The mustard seed that God sowed in His field was very small, smaller than all the seeds. The kingdom that started out by faith was continued on in human strength. The once humble, lowly mustard bush has grown prideful. Now at the end of the age has become a self-styled “tree”, larger than the garden plants. This tree is now very big with many large and small denominational branches. It has grown large through ambition, innovation and self-effort. It has become strong in its own strength. And it is visible and admired to the end of the whole earth! It has enlarged its authority, dominion and power. The tree gives credit to itself for growing so big and is quite proud of its height and size. It is a very successful tree in its own right; a kingdom with many mortal kings.

However the birds of the air have come to nest in its branches. These are the same birds that snatched and devoured the seeds that fell by the way side. These are evil birds, the birds of prey; the owls, the crows, the ravens, the eagles, hawks, vultures and buzzards. Evil has come in. These have an agenda. They have alighted, they have taken residence, they have eaten, they have brought destruction and noise. They are quite comfortable. In their power they have claimed their turf, building their nests in God’s tree (where they hatch little Valkyries). They have imported magick, death, confusion, mischief, sin, pride, bondage, lies, and fear. It is no longer safe for the little sparrows and doves.

They eat up the gentle songbirds. Like vultures they circle around the dead and dying, and wherever there is war or a graveyard. They are rather social; gathering in large numbers in the tree. They work well together to accomplish their goals. They are “wise”,  intelligent, esoteric and stealthily bring in brilliant mystical ideas, false visions, false wisdom and occult knowledge. They have brought their dark energy, satanic powers of spiritual enlightenment and sorcery into the tree. They peddle New Age illumination in their chosen place of residence. They shapeshift to look Christian on the outside. They perch on the branches of the great tree, dominating it. Their transformation of this tree has produced the ultimate Shift.

These birds of the air were sent by the prince of the power of the air, to take over this tree. They are his messengers sent to communicate lies to the unwary and undiscerning tree. The tree would be no match for these spiritual birds; though strong in outward physical form it is spiritually weak without the power of the living God. These birds have substituted witchcraft power. The evil birds sit confidently atop the tree, symbolizing the victory of their master’s empire and rule over the tree. The tree is thus completely corrupted by evil. When the King returns, He will deal with this matter.

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. Matt. 13:31-32

For the mystery of lawlessness (iniquity) is already at work...2Thes2:7

Snakes and Scorpions

Snakes and scorpions live in your government. They live in your neighborhood. They are in your Church. They are in your house. You are surrounded.

They speak lies to you. They speak lies about you. They are not sincere; they flatter and fake love for you. They mock and ridicule you. They laugh at you. They covet your spiritual possessions and envy you. They resent you and want you to fail. Evil influences and controls them.

Snakes and scorpions bite and sting you. They attack. They love to accuse you unjustly. They take pleasure as they blame and accuse you. They want to hurt you. They know there is no truth to their accusation yet they accuse to send flaming arrows of pain into you. They want to steal your joy and peace. They want to put blame, guilt, shame and bondage on you. They deliver arrows of pain and spew hate onto you. They intend to inject you with their poisonous venom. They want to kill your soul.

Snakes and scorpions betray you. They kiss you and then hate you and turn you over to the authorities. They fake love. Their friendship with you is an illusion; they are secretly loyal to your enemy.

They are greedy, selfish, spiteful, self-righteous, proud, vain, arrogant, cunning, deceptive, self-preserving, manipulative, controlling, authoritarian, ambitious, emotionally cruel, viscous, hurtful, dangerous, brutal, unforgiving, vindictive, vengeful and egocentric: they believe they are superior. They love power and control and utilize blackmail and punishment when necessary. They have hidden motives and agendas. When their control is threatened they will attack. They have not compassion nor mercy.

But Jesus gives us His power to tread on serpents and scorpions in the Spirit as we respond according to His will. They can not harm you. In power of His Spirit, you stand in the Holy Place; you are safe. You are safe from these death attacks as you trample them under your feet in the Spirit with His power filling you. The power of the enemy cannot hurt you. The Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ is in you and you are in Him: His power is in you and nothing can harm you.

1. Be wise as the serpent: understand who is attacking you and why.

2. Be harmless as a dove. Respond to attacks as Jesus did with humility, gentleness, grace, faith and silence.

3. As led by the Spirit, speak Truth in love, or remain silent.

Let us remember how the Lord Jesus responded to those who hated Him, and to remember His instructions to us regarding how we are to respond to those who hate us. He told us to take up our cross and follow Him. He is our Shepherd and we are His sheep. Let us follow Him.

Jesus’ response:
He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth;
like a lamb that is led to slaughter, and like a sheep that is silent before its shearers, so He did not open His mouth. Isaiah 53:7. (He did not defend Himself.)

Now Jesus stood before the governor and the governor questioned Him saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?”And Jesus said to him, “It is as you say.”
(He identified Himself.)

And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He made no answer. Then Pilate said to Him, “Do you not hear how many things they testify against You?” And He did not answer him with regard to even a single charge, so that the governor was quite amazed. Matt.27:11-14. (Jesus did not defend Himself.)

“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 23:34.(forgiveness)

Our response:
Be glad in that day, and leap for joy…Luke 6:23.

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad… Matt.5:12.

Keep on rejoicing…1 Pe.4:13.

But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. Matt.10:19-20.

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you, and persecute you. Matt.5:44.

But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. Luke6:27-28.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and curse not. Romans 12:14.

when we are reviled, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure(suffer)..
1 Cor.4:12.

But none of these things move me, neither do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. Acts 20:24

4. Offer up the suffering to God as worship. He will turn your suffering into worship, joy and love for Him by the filling of the power of His Spirit.

5. Respond in private worship alone to the Lord with prayer, praise, thanksgiving, trust, repentance, adoration and submission to Him and His will, in love.

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Matt.10:16

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them.. Matt.16:18

Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon (serpent) shalt thou trample under feet. Ps.91:13

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Matt.10:19
